Grounded is now available in version 1.0, what’s new

Accessible for a little over two years in early access, Grounded is a special project for developers. It must be said that the Obsidian studio is above all known for its RPGs, such as The Outer Worlds or Pillars of Eternity. But this experiment in the survival game seems to have paid off, with very encouraging feedback from the community throughout its early access period. This week, the title is deploying its final version, bringing its share of new features.

What does 1.0 bring to Grounded?

In addition to bringing some successes and the 1000G, this version 1.0 of Grounded incorporates a lot of new stuff. We find in particular two new areasnamely the Superior Court and the Underground Network, accompanied by the iconic Praying mantis who will act as a boss to fight. But the major addition remains of course campaign mode : a complete story is now playable, allowing us to know a little more about the reasons for our small size and how you arrived in this garden.

Of course, who says final version, also says improved user experience, with many adjustments. The inventory is improved, the weapon and armor upgrade system has been improved, new insects and other creatures have been implemented, such as the tiger mosquito and the black widow, and new crafting recipes have been added.

This 1.0 update is already deployed and is available to download for everyone who owns the game. Grounded is available for €39.99 on PC and Xbox and is also included in the Game Pass.
