(AOF) – The Parot group has confirmed that it has sold its Parot Automotive concessions in Ile de France. On January 7, the group sold 100% of the shares of its subsidiary Parot Automotive Ile-de-France, operating the Ford brand on 5 sites in Morangis, Brétigny-sur-Orge, Les Ulis, Paray-Vieille- Poste and Etampes, at the Jallu-Berthier Group. The transaction, for an amount of 8 million euros, is accompanied by the sale of the real estate assets of the concessions of Brétigny-sur-Orge, Les Ulis and Etampes.
In 2020, Parot Automotive Ile-de-France achieved a turnover of 48.6 million euros for a loss of -1.5 million euros.
“With this sale, we are completing the rationalization of our portfolio of activities on a historically profitable and resilient base. It was the last significant part of the process we started in the fall of 2019, which has already enabled us to significantly restore our profitability, as will soon be confirmed by our annual results “, commented Alexandre Parot, CEO of the Parot group.
