GT Neo 3: first clues about the gaming edition of Realme’s smartphone

Realme continues its gaming momentum. A rendering of a possible GT Neo 3 Gaming Edition has been unveiled on the web. Some elements of the data sheet of this smartphone dedicated to video games have also been discovered, in particular the processor.

If they are ultimately not widespread, gaming smartphones can interest many players who want to play in the best conditions on their phone. Realme seems to want to expand its range with the GT Neo 3 Gaming Edition. Nothing surprising in itself, especially when you know the size of the mobile video game market.

GT Neo 3 Gaming Edition: leaked visual and features

Some snippets of information have indeed been revealed on Twitter by AlexTechetc account. The Realme GT Neo 3, successor to the GT Neo 2, had already leaked on the web last month. The latter would benefit in particular from the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chip and a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen.

It is therefore now the turn of the gaming version of this future smartphone to be talked about, intended to run the most graphically demanding applications while offering a comfortable mobile gaming experience: the Realme GT Neo 3 Gaming Edition.

Even if this design is to be taken with a grain of salt, it could give an overview of the paths taken by Realme for its newcomer. The phone itself takes up the “smartphone gaming” codes already seen on the Asus ROG Phone 5 or the BlackShark 4 and many others, with a futuristic look, a set of gray lines and an orange band. We can also note the presence of small triggers on the edge, very practical for playing, as well as three photo sensors on the back.

Also according to information from the AlexTechetc account, the GT Neo 3 Gaming Edition would be powered by the powerful Dimensity 9000 chip from MediaTek. This would be supported by a nice 5000 mAh battery, taking advantage of the (very) fast charging at 125 W, ideal for this type of very greedy device.

It remains to be seen what the rest of the technical sheet has in store and if Realme intends to formalize this model soon.
