GTA 6: Alleged leak speaks of 400 hours of content and ridiculously high memory requirements

GTA 6

According to a supposed leak, GTA 6 will offer 400 hours of content. But this incredibly high number of required storage space is confusing.

Apparently GTA 6 will be around 750 GB in size when released. (Source: YouTube screenshot/TeaserPlay)

  • A supposed leak states 400 hours of content and 750 GB of required storage space.
  • However, this would mean that GTA 6 would have to be more than seven times larger than GTA 5.
  • Large games currently require an average storage capacity of 100 GB.

Apparently, GTA 6 will not only be more expensive than average games for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but will also take up a lot more storage space than players are used to.

On This would make GTA 6 almost four times as big as Microsoft’s Flight Simulator.

In addition to the incredible size of the upcoming title, there is also talk of 400 hours of content. But exactly where the leak came from is unknown. At least the excerpt shown is based on a report from Digital Phablet.

Unrealistic value

The ridiculously high number of storage space required raises doubts about the leak. After all, GTA 5 for PS5 is not even 100 GB in size. Of course, titles are taking up more and more storage space, but larger games take up around 100 GB on average.

Even if the map in GTA 6 is said to be much larger than the one in GTA 5, it is unlikely that you will actually need 750 GB of free storage space, as that could be quite problematic on the PS5 and Xbox Series X platforms. After all, they only have a capacity of 825 GB or one terabyte.
