Will GTA 6 be released in 2023? That’s what Take-Two’s latest financial results conference hinted at, which revealed that Rockstar’s parent company is gearing up for “record” earnings in the near future, which could well point to the launch window. of the next GTA.
After years of speculation, we now know for sure that the development of the next installment of GTA is “well advanced”.
However, even though this reveal from Rockstar is now concrete, we still don’t know when this next installment could arrive.
And while a series of leaks have claimed over the past few months that the launch date isn’t far off, several insiders have advised fans not to listen to them. Some have even hinted that we could wait until 2025.
Fans are eagerly awaiting any official information from Rockstar about GTA 6.
Although nothing has been confirmed yet, Take-Two may well have let slip some preliminary plans for the grand launch of this next major installment.
During a recent conference on its financial results, the publisher named 2023 as a year of overall growth, which could well indicate the date when GTA 6 could arrive on the shelves.

GTA 5 and GTA Online continue to generate huge revenue for Take-Two.
And among those goals, he said fiscal year 2023 should mark a “growth in net bookings” for the GTA editor thanks to multiple “exciting outings.”
With 2023 shaping up to be the biggest year in its history, Take-Two now seems to be turning its sights to the launch of GTA 6. What better way to set new company records than with the sequel to the second best-selling video game of all time?
“Every iteration for all of our successful franchises in this business, each has always done better than the last.” Zelnick told IGN in a Feb. 7 interview. “I’m not saying it will happen again, I’m not saying it’s guaranteed, but that’s our goal.”
All of these comments should be taken with a grain of salt when it comes to GTA specifically, though. But Zelnick added that “much more information about the upcoming sequel will be shared in due course“.
