GTA 6 is getting closer and closer to release and according to a report, Rockstar Games has now made the following decision in order not to jeopardize the release.

Rockstar Games has already announced GTA 6 and shown a first trailer, but hasn’t really revealed much about the new action title yet.
The title is now said to be in the final development phase, reports journalist Jason Schreier, who specializes in the gaming industry, on the Bloomberg website. The article requires payment, but the gaming magazine IGN has compiled the most important information from it.
Jenn Kolbe, Rockstar Head of Publishing, called on employees to stop working from home and to work on Grand Theft Auto 6 in the studio’s buildings.

When was the first GTA released?
Rockstar Games wants to increase productivity and security at the same time. There are probably security concerns after the mega-leak from 2022 and the first GTA 6 trailer was also leaked a day before the originally planned release.
Kolbe wrote in the email calling the staff to the office that working on site would be beneficial. “These changes put us in the best position to deliver the next Grand Theft Auto at the level of quality and polish it requires – along with a roadmap that matches the size and ambition of the game,” continued Kolbe.
GTA 6 will be released in 2025 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but there is no release date yet.
