You probably can’t escape it, this Sunday, September 18, a leaked massive concerning GTA 6 took place on the Web following a theft of information by a hacker. Take-Two Interactive took the necessary measures by having the videos removed from Youtube and in asking that the news feed of the forum where it all started is removed, but the damage is done, especially since part of the general public has a hard time understanding that a video game is not flashy during its development… We expected a reaction from Rockstar Games and it has just taken place.
As you can read, nothing should impact the current games or the development of this next one. GTA and the studio won’t officially reveal it until it wants to.

We recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto. At this time, we do not anticipate any disruption to our live service games or any long-term effects on the development of our ongoing projects.
We are extremely disappointed to have details of our upcoming game shared with you in this manner. Our work on the next Grand Theft Auto will continue as planned and we remain committed as always to delivering an experience to you, our players, that truly exceeds your expectations. We’ll be updating everyone again soon and of course we’ll give you a proper introduction to this next game when it’s ready.
