GTA Trilogy: Bad news for the mobile version…

[ad_1]

Despite a fairly wobbly release on consoles and PC, GTA Trilogy Remastered Definitive Edition has been able to pull out of the game since it was last February that the parent company of Rockstar Gamesto know take twohad non-proudly announced that the trilogy had exceeded their expectations.

With no less than 10 million sales recorded last February, GTA Trilogy has contributed to the success of the franchise whose sales figures amount today, through the last financial report, to the height of 375 million games distributed throughout the world. However, despite this small success, and also despite the announcement of Take-Two, if GTA Trilogy seems to be appreciated by players, we will have to wait for its release on iOS and Android.

GTA Trilogy, its release on iOS and Android postponed

Originally announced for a release during the first half of 2022, the company announced a change of plan via its latest financial statement. If we hoped to find the 3 titles on our phones quickly enough, So Take-Two has announced that this little trilogy will ultimately be released during the company’s current fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2023 (via VGC).

But why such a delay? Well, sadly we don’t really know the reason why, but given the issues with the latest release on PC and consoles last November, it could be that the games aren’t yet well optimized to land on our mobile devices.

Anyway, as of this writing, we’re all now waiting for the announcement of the new GTA Trilogy release window on iOS and Android. Let’s hope that Rockstar Games won’t take too long either, because on our side, we would have liked to play GTA 3 with our feet in the water…

And now ?

If Rockstar Games has offered several remasters, what about its other titles? Well, concerning GTA 5 which we no longer name, everything seems to be going well if we are to believe the latest sales figures. With over 165 million games sold worldwide, the success of GTA 5 doesn’t seem to want to stop.

Moreover, with regard to Red Dead Redemption 2, if we are in the dark as to the content to come for its Online mode, rumors have announced that the starred firm would work on the latter in order to offer it on the so-called next consoles -gen. For the moment, nothing has been confirmed by the studio, but such a decision would not be really surprising since GTA 5 was able to take advantage of this approach. Also, this could perhaps allow the title to rise from its ashes and thus win back the hearts of the players? Case to follow!

GTA Trilogy Remastered Definitive Edition has just benefited from a new update with several new fixes to improve the gaming experience for players.
