How do I transfer progress to the next-gen versions of GTA V and Online?

In this new post, we also learn how it will be possible to transfer your progress from the PS4 and Xbox One to the PS5 and Xbox Series.

From today, it is possible to transfer your save from Story mode to the Rockstar Games Social Clubactivating the game’s pause menu, and selecting the save transfer option.

You will only be able to transfer one save at a time, and the latter will remain accessible for 90 days. Be careful though, this is a one-way trip, once the backup is transferred to the new console, no more return possible.

For GTA Online, you just need to log into your Rockstar Games Social Club account. via next-gen consoles after the game is released to recover your character and progress.

GTA V will be released on March 15 on PS5 and Xbox Series.
