(CercleFinance.com) – GTT announces that it is ‘closely following’ developments in the situation in Ukraine and Russia and says it is ‘exposed to risks on the continuation and proper performance of certain contracts.’ GTT adds that it is constantly evaluating the consequences of this situation on its teams and its activities, in order to take the appropriate measures.
As of December 31, 2021, approximately €100 million – or 12% of the order book – relates to units under construction in Russia.
‘This crisis highlights the importance of gas needs worldwide and more specifically the strategic importance of the maritime transport of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), which constitutes the core of the Group’s activity’, analyzes GTT.
