(CercleFinance.com) – GTT announces that Elogen, a GTT group company, has been selected by Storengy as part of a project to operate the Lescar wastewater treatment unit and build units methanization and methanation.
The project, developed by the Pau Béarn Pyrénées Agglomeration Community, will produce 10 energies and resources (Biomethane, synthetic methane, Biochar, heat, electricity, nitrogen fertilizer, oxygen, green hydrogen, reused water, vegetable crops) from waste water from Lescar.
Elogen will design and manufacture a PEM (proton exchange membrane) electrolyser with a power of 1 MW, and capable of peak operation at 1.3 MW. Intended for the methanation unit, the Elogen electrolyser will be delivered during the first half of 2023, specifies GTT.
