Guerbet: records a loss of 41.1 ME in 2022

(CercleFinance.com) – Guerbet publishes revenue of €753.3 million for the 2022 financial year, up 2.9% compared to 2021, or -1.1% at constant exchange rates ( tcc).

The company indicates that activity was penalized by the temporary drop in production rates at the Raleigh (North Carolina) site due to
recruitment difficulties. In addition, Guerbet had to adapt the production lines in order to prioritize the manufacture of EluciremTM, which received its marketing authorization from the FDA on September 21.

Between 2021 and 2022, EBITDA fell from 105.1 to 103.1 ME, while net income fell from +32.6 ME to -41.1 ME.

For 2023, Guerbet confirms that it anticipates revenue growth of more than 5% on a like-for-like basis and CER. The EBITDA/restated revenue margin rate is expected around 11%, before a return in 2024 to a higher level than that experienced in 2021 (14.4%).
