Guerbet: the Raleigh site penalized activity in 2022

(CercleFinance.com) – Guerbet announces that its Group sales reached €753.3 million in 2022, up 2.9% compared to
2021. At constant exchange rates (CER), activity was down slightly by -1.1% over the year.

At constant exchange rates, sales fell by -1.9% in the EMEA zone and -7.5% in the Americas zone, but rose by 8.5% in Asia.

Guerbet specifies that in 2022, activity at the industrial site in Raleigh (North America) suffered a slowdown which affected sales worldwide, mainly due to production delays for Optiray® and pre-filled syringes .

“In 2023, production rates at the Raleigh site should have fully returned to normal from the first quarter, allowing commercial activity to be upgraded in the second quarter,” says Guerbet.

The group wants to be confident for 2023 and is aiming for growth of more than 5% in its turnover on a like-for-like basis and constant exchange rate.
