A few days ago, Citroën unveiled the Buggy version of its tiny Ami electric car.
A version offered in Ultra Special Limited Edition, with only 50 copies on sale.
Citroën Ami Buggy, 17 minutes and not one more
Inspired by a concept presented at the end of last year, the new Buggy version of the Citroën Ami is an exclusive vehicle to say the least. Indeed, Citroën has decided to limit its production to 50 copies only. All were put on sale this June 21 at 12 p.m., at a price starting at 9,790 euros. Obviously, they have already all been sold.
The website set up for the occasion was overwhelmed with requests, and just under 2,000 people showed an interest in the Citroën Ami Buggy, but only 50 of them will soon be able to install in their garage. In total, the 50 copies were all sold out in just 17 minutes and 28 seconds very precisely.
Remember that this Ami version is distinguished in particular by its roof ” opening “, but also metal tubes in place of the doors, without forgetting a specific color and some aesthetic modifications demonstrating its side “ off road “. It remains to be seen now if the success of this Buggy version will encourage Citroën to decline its Ami in other limited versions.
