The designer knows a lot about women, which is why it is particularly important to him to empower women. Together with L'Oréal Paris and the "Stand up" initiative, he campaigns for empowerment.

Guido Maria Kretschmer is a woman who understands women through and through. The popular designer has been proving this not only with his collections for decades, but now also as part of the "Stand Up" initiative newly founded by L'Oréal Paris. This is a training program aimed at preventing public harassment and creating safe public spaces for all. It's about strengthening the self-esteem of everyone, but especially of us women, and creating a culture in which everyone stands up for everyone. We spoke to Guido Maria Kretschmer and asked him which little things in everyday life can already help us to feel strong.

I believe it is important to try your hand at a good inventory. You should appreciate what you have and what you like and be aware that it has value and that it can also be conveyed to the outside world. This can definitely promote self-confidence and your own strength

, said Guido Maria Kretschmer in an interview with BRIGITTE.de.

It is essential that women learn to act self-confidently early on, because they are still too often confronted with unpleasant and dubious situations in public. "It is very important to be strong and to shout" stop "loudly!"

"Women are great and a gift"

Strengthening women, promoting their self-esteem and making them feel good – that is an affair of the heart for Guido Maria Kretschmer.

It's women's issues that move me. I just take good care of myself in my own environment. There has never been a woman who would say that I experienced something from Guido that I did not want. But on the contrary. I grew up with many wonderful women, from whom I learned a lot and who have always been my role models. Women are great and it is a great gift for me that, together with “Stand Up” and L’Oréal Paris, I can help empower women and make them heard.
