In addition to the world of cinema, the actor is passionate about horses, as he mentioned in October 2021, in the show Boomerang on France Inter. A passion that he shared with Jean Rochefort. Since their meeting, the latter has never let go of Guillaume Canet. Very close to each other, the two actors liked to discuss their passion, but the director also followed all the advice given by the actor to the letter.An elephant cheats a lot.
Even if sometimes, Jean Rochefort gave him funny mantras : “The phrase he kept repeating to me: ‘Don’t buy the barbecue!’ That sums it all up. My parents were not there and so I introduced her to him. He told me said: ‘You have a face for making films’.
