In full remission from his jaw cancer, Guillaume Durand gave an interview to Paris Match. In the columns of the magazine, the famous animator addressed several subjects, whose atmosphere in the media world at the start of his careerlong before the post #MeToo era.
While the journalists asked him if he had ever questioned himself about his past behavior, Guillaume Durand affirmed thatIhe had never indulged in inappropriate conduct with one of his collaborators: “I worked with many women – Catherine Nay, Alba Ventura, Caroline Roux – and I never considered pissing them off. I think it’s a matter of personality.”did he declare.

The journalist who has been sick for many years continued his response by stating that he preferred to focus on advancing his career in an honorable way rather than indulging in acts of sexual predation: “I got married young. You know, if it had concerned me, by then everyone would know. I have other faults but not this one“he told Paris Match.
In an effort to prove his good faith, Guillaume Durand, who recently lost his father, also told the story of a rather surprising story, in which he would have refused the advances of three former studentswhen he was a teacher: “One day, on my way home, I found three of my students on my stairs. One of them said to me: “Mr. Durand, we would very much like to play the pipe with you”he recalled.
At the time, a case had just broken out over a love affair between a teacher, Gabrielle Russier, and her underage student: “I was terribly scared, I kicked them out of there quickly”he continued.
