Guillaume Larrivé (LR): “Let’s not lock ourselves into an anti-Macron posture”

Deputy LR Guillaume Larrivé was the guest of La Matinale weekend on CNEWS. The latter invited his political party not to lock itself into an anti-Emmanuel Macron posture.

“I want to participate in the construction of a new majority for France”, launched the deputy Les Républicains (LR) of Yonne, guest of Jean-Pierre Elkabbach this Sunday.

Towards an LR-LREM alliance?

For Guillaume Larrivé, “Emmanuel Macron has called for a rally”. Adding that “this call to rally, I would not understand that the movement, heir to the Gaullists, the Sarkozysts, do not hear it. And besides, Nicolas Sarkozy himself, the former President of the Republic, was right to also wish for this gathering.

“I am 100% committed to ensuring that Emmanuel Macron’s five-year term succeeds,” he insists. “Let’s not be afraid to engage actively, right now, positively, in the campaign, we are not going to stay for five years in a sterile opposition”, he explains while adding that an anti-Macron posture has already led the Republicans party below the 5% mark in the presidential election.

So for the LR deputy from Yonne, the LR and LREM alliance would be desirable.
