Guilty Gear Strive: An open beta to test cross-play will take place from October 15 to 17 on PC, PS4 and PS5


As announced last summer by Arc System Works, Guilty Gear Strive should support cross-play functionality within a few weeks. In order to best prepare for its deployment, the Asian studio has decided to organize an open and free test phase. from October 15 3 a.m. to October 17 9 a.m. on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Note that the application for this beta will be downloadable from October 13 at 9 a.m. and that it will not be necessary to have PlayStation Plus to enjoy it on Sony consoles.

Solid program content

As reported by Gematsu, this session will not only be an opportunity to test cross-play via online lobbies. Players who still haven’t fallen for the title will also be able to access much of its content, namely the 21 characters currently included in the roster as well as numerous game modes (Tutorial, Missions, Survival, Training , Versus AI and local…).

Released on PC, PS4 and PS5 in June 2021, Guilty Gear Strive to arrive at during the spring of 2023 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass.
