Guilty Gear Strive: Testament, crossplay and season 2 dlc

This is Guilty Gear Strive who clearly had the most things to announce during this new roundtable stream from Japanese fighting game developers. We now know who will join Goldlewis, Jack-O’, Happy Chaos and Baiken to complete the title’s first season.

Guilty Gear Strive announces the Old Testament

We will start with everything related to the end of the first season, in particular the new character (finally a return what). Will will arrive on March 28 on PC and for those who have the Season Pass on PlayStation consoles before becoming available for purchase individually on March 31 on consoles. Iel (this is the pronoun given on the official website) fights with a scythe and tries to forgive himself for a Winter Soldier-like past.

The same dates will see the arrival of a land named White House Reborn which, as its name suggests, will use the White House in Washington as the setting. At the end of April, Season 1 will really come to an end with the addition of its final content, new cutscenes for Story Mode that will show the point of view of characters who did not appear in the basic plot.

And free content level, Arc System Works will add on March 28 a Digital Figure Fashion which will allow you to make dioramas with the characters to stage them and take pictures. His presentation video is available just below for layout reasons.

The future of Guilty Gear Strive

We were also informed that Guilty Gear Strive would be entitled to a second Season Pass which will consist of four characters. It is assumed that they will probably be teased or hinted at in the new cutscenes at the end of April.

The other big news is the addition of crossplay between the PlayStation and PC versions. You should know that the developers claimed to be working on it last July without being able to really confirm it officially. No date but it will be part of season 2 as well as several updates to improve the online.

And if you are interested in the competitive scene, in addition to its participation in the next EVO, know that a Arc World Tour 2022 is planned with 100,000 dollars of cash prize planned for the last Guiltywe do not yet have any details on the different qualification stages.

Guilty Gear Strive is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
