The fans of Gundam have something to look forward to right now, between the recent launch of SD Gundam Battle Alliance and the arrival in early October of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury. To this will be added the FPS multiplayer and free-to-play Gundam Evolutionwhich has just been entitled to a presentation in which its release date has been revealed, or rather its dates, since it will first be available on PC before the end of the month and then at the end of the year on brackets, with a Season 1 which was treated to a very stylish trailer.
Thereby, Gundam Evolution will launch on PC in Europe and Asia on September 22and the time difference will make it available on the 21st in North America. PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One will not be served until December 1 (or November 30 for Canada and the United States). It will then be possible to have fun with a roster starter including 12 Mobile Suits in matches pvp in 6v6 through three objective-based game modes: Point Catch, Domination and Destruction.
Three additional units will be added with the Season 1namely the Zaku II (Melee Loadout)the mahiroo and the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. To unlock them, as well as the Gundam Exia and the marsai [UC] will have to pay EVO Coins (microtransactions) or Capital Points (PC), the currency to be won by playing. An edition DX paying game will be marketed to unlock them directly with skins.
Four news maps were also presented, namely Harbor City (Point Catch), Wilderness Mining Field (Point Catch), Guiana Highlands (Domination) and Security Terminal (Destruction), bringing the total to 10 for launch. Each season will last two months and MS will be added each time, while skins of weapons and unit, animations MVPtampons, emotes and ornaments will be available through a Season Passwhich will have a free version and another Premium as is done elsewhere.
Animated scenes and portraits will be added later. Visuals can be found on the next page.
