RTL veteran Wolfram Kons has been the face of “Guten Morgen Deutschland” for ages. Now he takes his hat off, this is his successor.

Wolfram Kons moderated “Guten Morgen Deutschland” on RTL for 31 years – a unique record on German television. Kons is also entering its tenth year in 2022 with its program “ntv Inside Art”. In the morning he accompanies many of the TV viewers at breakfast, once a month he dedicates himself to art on n-tv, but above all the presenter cares about RTL’s charity activities.

In addition to the annual RTL donation marathon, which the journalist directs and moderates, Kons will in future be firmly responsible for the expansion of the “We help children eV” foundation at RTL. As part of this, Kons, who is also a board member of the RTL Foundation, will let the moderation of the daily morning magazine “Guten Morgen Deutschland” rest.
A remedy is already on the way there. Simon Beeck, who has also been a 1LIVE presenter for many years and has been on the microphone at the WDR radio station since 2008, will start as a presenter on “Guten Morgen Deutschland” next week. Its first broadcast is on March 9th.
