Singer Gwen Stefani will soon marry her colleague Blake Shelton. Her sons from her first marriage are said to be heavily involved in the ceremony.
When the wedding bells ring for Gwen Stefani (51, "Hollaback Girl") and Blake Shelton (44, "If I'm Honest"), it's not just the two musicians who are at the center of the celebrations. As a friend of the couple now told the US magazine "People", their three children from their first marriage should also play an important role in the ceremony.
"Gwen's sons are just really reliable, cute kids and they're so excited because Blake and Gwen are getting married," the friend is quoted as saying. Stefan's children Kingston (14), Zuma (12) and Apollo (6), whom she has with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale (55) from the band Bush ("Glycerine"), "couldn't wait to be by their side "and be" a big part "of the wedding.

The insider also reported that Stefani made it clear to her partner right at the beginning of the relationship that her offspring would always come first. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton met in 2014 as coaches for the US version of the talent show "The Voice". At first they became friends. After their respective separations and divorces – Shelton was married to music colleague Miranda Lambert (37, "Bluebird") from 2011 to 2015 and Stefani to Rossdale from 2002 to 2016 – they gave each other support and quickly discovered many similarities – including their deeply rooted ones Faith and their sense of family.
