Card game heavily inspired by Gwent in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is still being talked about as the developers at CD Projekt Red have just rolled out a brand new update to the software. It’s about patch 10.5bringing new features, changes and rewards.
But, without further ado, here is an overview of the content of this new update, in French.
Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Update 10.5
New features
- New keyword “Countdown”: Before the end of your turn, reduce the number by 1. When the number reaches 0, trigger the ability.
Amendments
- Return trips: Geralt and Ciri are back! Choose the Journey you want to progress in and pick it up where you left off!
- Awards: Progress through Journeys to collect ornaments and cosmetics, while earning reward points in Standard and Premium Paths.
- Contracts: Unlock even more rewards by playing games with your favorite cosmetics.
- New types of trinkets: You will now be able to unlock additional rewards. For Geralt, auras based on witcher signs, and for Ciri, trophies based on her adventures.
- New Weekly Quests: Each week, only 3 quests will be available for the Journey.
- If you fail to complete one or all of these quests, you can redo the previous week’s quests in the new week. The quests are the same regardless of the Voyage selected. Crown pieces earned by completing a quest are added to the currently selected Voyage.
- Story : Added Ciri’s story and Geralt’s story.
