Gwyneth Paltrow (48) is in trouble: Her Goop company sells candles that are said to smell like the actress’s vagina. One of these candles is said to have exploded – that’s why a man from Texas is suing the Hollywood star’s brand. The promiportal “TMZ” wants that now thanks to court documents have figured out. According to the indictment, the plaintiff bought the “This Smells Like My Vagina” candle online in January of this year – but the pretty decorative item could have killed him.
Colby Watson, the plaintiff, claims that at no time were there any objects near the candle – the windows were also always closed. However, after about three hours of burning, the product should have burst into flames and exploded shortly thereafter. Watson also added a picture of his charred goop candle as evidence.
Claim should be “dubious”
A spokesman for the company already gave the US media company a statement on the allegations: “We are sure that this claim is dubious and an attempt to snatch a huge payout from a product. We stand behind the brands we offer , and your safety. ” Heretic, the manufacturer of the candle, is said to have ensured safety through product testing, according to Goop.
