GZSZ star Felix von Jascheroff: Shooting with Chryssanthi Kavazi demanded a lot from his body

GZSZ veteran Felix von Jascheroff, 39, has been playing the role of John Bachmann for over 20 years. It is understandable that the actor has experienced a lot on the set of the popular RTL series over the past two decades. But a bathtub scene with colleague Chryssanthi Kavazi, 33, (Laura Lehmann) brought the native of Berlin to his physical limits, as he recently revealed in the GZSZ podcast.

Due to severe back pain, John Bachmann had to take painkillers and lay in a full bathtub. Then it happened: he became unconscious, even threatened to drown. This day of shooting demanded a lot from Felix von Jascheroff. In the GZSZ podcast he describes that there would be no normal flow of water in the studio. The result: the bath water is heated with a boiler, but quickly cools down again. He only wore “a touch of nothing”, i.e. skin-colored underpants.

“Something about relaxing in the bathtub – nothing there,” says Felix. As a professional actor, his aspiration is to stay in the tub “until the scene is over.” And such a scene could “last up to half an hour, if not longer”. His body reacted promptly. After the shoot, von Jascheroff “got really ill,” as he reports with a laugh. However, he should have recovered quickly from the cold.
