Professional footballer Timo Baumgartl tries his hand at acting: The athlete has landed a guest role in “Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten”.

Learning to read instead of scoring goals: professional soccer player Timo Baumgartl (25) gets a guest role in “Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten”. That reported “RTL.de” on Saturday (25th of September). When Baumgartl will be seen and what role he will take on, the broadcaster has not yet revealed. A first photo shows the athlete with the “GZSZ” stars Chryssanthi Kavazi (32) alias Laura Weber and Wolfgang Bahro (61) alias Jo Gerner.

Baumgartl has been a professional footballer since 2013

The young actor is the son of ex-national handball player Michaela Baumgartl. From 2013 to 2019 he played for the second and first team of VfB Stuttgart. He has been under contract with PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands since July 2019. In July 2021 he was loaned to 1. FC Union Berlin for one season. For the German U21 national team, he was the captain on the field.
