According to the production company UFA Serial Drama, the reason for the shooting break over Easter was a positive corona finding of an employee who "last worked three weeks ago and behind the scenes". In order to protect everyone, a quarantine period was ordered by production on their own responsibility. The shooting is now being continued "under the most current, most precise and strictest hygiene measures, which are discussed in detail with occupational health and safety experts".
The daily broadcasts of the Daily could thus continue as planned at RTL (and a week in advance on TVNOW) without interruption, it is said. The "GZSZ" anniversary on April 29 was never in danger, since the shooting for it already took place on Fuerteventura in February. The 7000th episode of the series is available in feature length.
