- The first episode of “Good Times, Bad Times” (GZSZ) was broadcast on May 11, 1992.
- Filming for GZSZ began on March 16, 1992, initially in the Berlin Union Film Studios in Berlin-Tempelhof.
- In 1995 the GZSZ crew moved to Potsdam, where they have been filming in Babelsberg ever since.

Spoiler! Does Laura die serial death?
No question about it: Laura Lehmann (Chryssanthi Kavazi, 32) is not really popular with GZSZ fans. Most recently there was even a bullying scandal and Chryssanthi was insulted in the worst way by the audience. With the story of lies about her baby, Laura gambled away all sympathies not only from the series fans, but also from the Kolle-Kiez residents. Her mother Yvonne (Gisa Zach, 47) and her ex-partner Felix (Thaddäus Meilinger, 39) want nothing more to do with her. “I only feel contempt for you, it is a mystery to me how I could ever love you”, Felix throws Laura at Laura after an attempt at reconciliation. Then she begins to drink.
The dramas of the last few weeks and months are figuratively reeling off in her head. She makes up her mind, climbs onto the roof and stands on the edge in front. Laura is desperate and it looks like she wants to end her life. But Jo Gerner (Wolfgang Bahro, 60) rushes to help, who finds her on the roof after her goodbye message. The two never got along well, but are still very similar. “We are fighters! You are strong, don’t give up now, Laura!”, Jo yells at her. Laura cries, thinks about it, but then climbs from the edge of the roof.

Diana Staehly says goodbye
Actress Diana Staehly, 43, says goodbye to GZSZ. Her series character Melanie leaves Katrin and Tobias to their fate, then escapes from the burning barn by car and dies.
The 43-year-old is now posting the last photos on Instagram. “That was once a goodbye that was a lot of fun! Tonight I can be seen as Mel at GZSZ for the last time! Thaddäus Meilinger is turning his back on the Kolle-Kiez for the time being
This news comes as a surprise: Thaddäus Meilinger, 39, is leaving GZSZ for the time being. The fans of the popular RTL soap have known him in his role as Felix Lehmann for around five years. But now the Giessener wants to go other ways first. The reason: He wants to take some time off to have more time for the family and other projects.
On Friday, July 2nd, 2021, Squidward was in front of the camera for the last time for the daily series. “Of course, I have grown dear to Felix and all of his stories that I was allowed to play. But now I am also looking forward to new roles on stage and in film and music. Currently I am working on a concert program and a Christmas CD.
