On the occasion of the PlayStation showcase, the Swedish studio Hadoque unveils its new project, Ultros. A metroidvania as mystical as it is psychedelic which should be released in 2024 on PC via Steam as well as on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Ultros takes players to a charged and colorful alien universe filled with life. The world of the Sarcophagus is full of mystery and throughout their exploration players will encounter many forms of bloodthirsty life. All surrounded by lush vegetation.
Each time you die, the mysterious powers of the Sarcophagus will bring you back to life, constantly sending you back into a seemingly endless time loop. Each loop will allow you to better understand the codes of this strange universe and thus improve your chance of breaking the cycle that reigns there.
The world of Ultroc conceals many secrets, it’s up to you to have the curiosity and the courage to unearth them. The different loops will allow you to return to key moments to better unravel the mysteries of the places, and get closer to the truth.
