Nevertheless, one or the other woman may not want to do without a perfect parting and manicured nails. Here are a few tips.
Recolor hairline
Anyone who decided a while ago to switch from brunette to blonde may have to bother with an unsightly approach. Although women can use the colorant themselves, DIY methods for hair are generally to be used with caution. First of all, it should be clarified whether you want to dye or tone the hair. Tinting is gentler, but it only lasts for six to eight shampoos. In addition, this method only works if the approach is to be dark.
The color tone is crucial for a smooth transition. Once found, an old shirt or sweater is required. Because even those who work carefully will hardly be able to avoid stains. And it would be a shame if the chic shirt had to go into the trash after the dyeing campaign, right?
And this is how it works: Mix the color according to the package insert, then the hair on the back of the head is divided into four sections using a stem comb and pinned down. One parting should extend from the left to the right ear, the other from the forehead to the neck. Then coat the individual strands with the paint. Manicures like a pro
Even though we may not be able to go to the nail salon at the moment, our hands look forward to a thorough manicure. What do we need for this? A good nail file, preferably made of glass or ceramic, is gentler on sensitive nails. A cuticle remover should not be missing either. And finally, some nail polish. First of all, you should thoroughly clean and degrease your nails with nail polish remover. With the file, the nails are shaped either square or almond-shaped, as desired. When filing, it is important not to guide the file back and forth, but always to file from the outside in. Otherwise, the nail tip will roughen and break or splinter more easily. Then put your hands in a lukewarm water bath for about ten minutes. The excess cuticle soaks and is then easier to remove. Now apply a little nail oil and massage in. Then let it dry.
If you want to paint your nails, you should allow enough time, because it is best to work with several layers. The following applies: Always draw a path in the middle of the nail, then one on the left and one on the right. After the first layer has dried, the second or a third follows. Tip: With a dark varnish, it is advisable to use a base coat beforehand so that the nails do not change color. Any mistakes can be removed with a nail polish correction pen.
