Halal state police: why the filming experienced “maximum risk”

This Wednesday, July 20, TFX programmed the comedy Halal state police in prime time. This 4th feature film by the duo Eric and Ramzy promises viewers an evening full of laughter. But the filming of the film almost did not go as expected.

By programming the film Halal state police in prime time this Wednesday, July 20, the TFX channel has decided to play the laugh card to please its viewers. This film is the fourth feature film by the duo Eric and Ramzy, after La Tour Montparnasse infernale, Les Dalton and Seuls Two. And the least we can say is that the two actors are not lacking in anecdotes when they tell behind the scenes of the shooting.

“It’s first of all a nod to the TV programs I watched in my childhood: when I returned to bled, in Algeria, there was only Inspector Tahar, a very popular detective series at the time which was hugely successful in Algeria. We were inspired by it”, said Ramzy Bédia about the birth of his film. Before Eric Judor outbids: What amused us in the scenario is that we took the opposite view of American thrillers where, in general, a partner is assigned to the hero who does not want it because he wants to complete his mission alone”.

Halal state police: A very dangerous day of filming

But the shooting, which took place in the district of Barbès, north of Paris, almost did not go as hoped. According to the memories of Rachid Dhibou, one scene in particular was… very dangerous. “Everything went well, even on Friday June 18, when the famous “saucisson-pinard” aperitif and the Algeria-England match took place at the same time. We were shooting a hostage-taking scene that day with police cars and we were told that we were taking maximum risk. But everything went well: the inhabitants of the neighborhood welcomed us very well and the atmosphere was very festive”. All that remains is to discover this comedy, for those who have not yet seen it.
