The scariest day of the year is just around the corner. On October 31st, vampires, ghosts and other horror characters will roam the streets again. If you are not particularly talented at making up or have no more time for an elaborate costume, you will find it here: the best last-minute Halloween costumes with things you have at home.
Spontaneous costume: the mummy
Walking undead should not be missing at any Halloween party. The costume can be created with just a few utensils: A completely white outfit creates a good base, then gauze bandages are wrapped around the body from head to toe and attached to the clothing with safety pins. With a little dark eye shadow you can conjure up fake circles under the eyes, white powder conjures up a sickly pallor in the face. To make it a little creepier, you can smear the gauze bandages with some fake blood.
Wednesday Addams
The never laughing girl from the world famous “Addams Family” has always been one of the most popular Halloween costumes. And nobody has to rush into expenses for this. All you need is a white blouse with a collar, a black dress, elastic braids and black shoes. The blouse goes under the dress and the hair is braided into two side braids. With a little light powder you can recreate the pale skin color of Wednesday Addams.
The classic: bloodthirsty vampire
Of course, Count Dracula and his cronies should not be missing on Halloween. For a simple vampire costume you need black trousers and a white shirt or other elegant outfit. Vampires are pale – the face should be made up accordingly: white powder, black kohl and dark eyeshadow. A little fake blood and a plastic bit complete the bloodthirsty look.
The scary doll: Annabelle
You don’t want to play with this doll: Annabelle is said to be possessed by a demon and served as a template for the horror film “Conjuring – The Visitation”. Maximum horror factor, but simple disguise: the doll wears her hair in two braided pigtails, tied with ribbon bows. A white ruffled dress, dark red lipstick and large made-up doll eyes complete the costume.

The “Squid Game” series hit Netflix like a bomb a few weeks before Halloween – and becomes the template for many Halloween costumes. The characters in the series wear distinctive green jogging suits with numbers on them. If you don’t have time to order one of the coveted suits online, you can easily create the outfit yourself: Simply label a green jogging suit with a three-digit number and combine it with white sneakers – everyone will recognize what this simple costume is about .
