Some people live – no – breathe Halloween. All year long they plan their scary outfit, how they will style their hair and do their scary makeup. But not everyone can be so well prepared for October 31st and already have a clear idea of ​​their own costume. If you feel the same but still want to make a scary appearance, here are three make-up ideas for which you don’t need any special SFX products.

Halloween make-up: You already have everything at home for these spooky looks

The motto of these three make-up looks is eerily beautiful. Because even though they are scary, they don’t completely disfigure you, as can be the case with other Halloween looks.

1. Devil horns

You don’t like drawing? No problem for these devil horns! Because instead of painstakingly painting them with a brush, with this look you just stamp them onto your skin. However, you don’t need a special mold for this – you can simply use the edge of your eyelash curler. The curve of the round pliers is the perfect contour for a horn half. Attention: The curve points twice in the same direction when you stamp the pliers. Just make sure there are no mascara or eyeshadow residues there. You don’t need any special color either – a liquid lipstick is ideal. It’s best to use a matte formulation so that your devil horns don’t get angel wings and move around.

2. Gothic lips

A simple lever to make your makeup look suitable for Halloween is the color of your lips: Dark lipstick immediately makes you look a little more spooky. Black is a good choice, but a gradient from black to red looks even better. However, you don’t have to buy a new lipstick color – when do you need it again? In the first step, simply apply your dark red lipstick all over your lip (preferably matte). Before the creamy or liquid texture dries, apply black eyeshadow to the contour with a small brush. You use it to outline your mouth like a lip liner. Once that’s done, take the brush again, but without applying any new product. Now use small swiping movements to blend the black edge towards the center.

3. Scratches

Now things are becoming slightly more artistically demanding. For this look you will need black and red eyeshadow, a slanted eyebrow brush, a small blending brush and a red liquid lipstick that is not matte. Powder your skin thoroughly beforehand so that everything can be hidden better.

  1. First, use the brow brush and black eye shadow to apply four slightly slanted lines above the eyebrow and under the eye. If the eye were not in between, the total of eight strokes would result in four lines.
  2. Now use the blending brush and red eye shadow to blend along the lines so that no hard edges are visible. Here you can slowly build up the color until you are satisfied with the result.
  3. Now adjust again with the slanted brush and black eye shadow so that the depth of the scratch is not lost. You can also blur the edges again with the clean blending brush.
  4. Finally, pick up your liquid lipstick with the eyebrow brush and spread it along the black line. Feel free to be messy here – that way it looks more real.

The look looks even better if you also apply make-up to your eyes and lips in the two colors. Red contact lenses give off even more of a vampire vibe.
