At least Jamie Lee Curtis never tires of mentioning that she will not appear in any more “Halloween” films and that Laurie Strode’s story is therefore complete. But does that also apply to Michael Myers?

There’s certainly nothing wrong with the order in which the films were released. It has several advantages: You can see every existing “Halloween” film as fans of the first hour experienced it. On the other hand, “Halloween III” and Rob Zombie’s two films are out of line and events from previous films are repeatedly ignored, which could easily cause confusion during a film marathon.
