Even though Halo Infinite has a paid campaign, the multiplayer mode is a free to play title.
But events could soon at least be chargeable, as Dataminer want to have found out. But a warning can also be found directly in the tweet.
At the moment there are only indications that such events can be assumed, but this has not really been confirmed yet.
You will be certain at the latest when Microsoft announces such paid events. By the way, the release of the co-op campaign for Halo Infinite is coming up soon.
