Halo Infinite Online Co-op Campaign Targets End of August

As previously announced, this season 2 will run from May 3 to November 7, 2022 and brings two new maps as well as three new modes. Two story events are also set for the months of May and July while the 100 rewards of the new battle pass will be the subject of a presentation later this week.

We also learn that the possibility of browsing the campaign of the game in cooperation, absent from the launch, aims for a deployment at the end of August. Please note, this is about online co-op and not split-screen, which defers to season 3… and therefore potentially to 2023. At the end of August, players should also be able to replay an already completed campaign chapter, as Forge mode plans to debut in September, as part of an open beta to begin with.

In his statement, creative director Joseph Staten reminds the many gamers out of patience that the 343 Industries team wants to stick to a healthy work pace that does not affect the health of its teams, which sometimes involves to slow down. “But we are also determinedly looking for ways to accelerate“, says Staten, which includes in-depth collaborations with its partner studios, including Certain Affinity.
