Halyna Hutchins’ family is in deep grief after their tragic death by a prop gun on the set. Her nine-year-old son in particular suffers from the loss.
It is sad details that are now revealed in the days following Halyna Hutchins’ death. Last Thursday (October 21, 2021), the camerawoman died of gunshot wounds from a prop weapon triggered by Alec Baldwin, 63, while filming the western film “Rust” in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Both Baldwin and Halyna’s husband Matthew Hutchins have already spoken on social media.

Now Halyna’s father Anatoly Androsovych, who lives in Halyna’s country of birth, Ukraine, also speaks. He reveals harrowing details about his nine-year-old grandson Andros over “The Sun”: “Andros was incredibly close to his mother and fell silent when he was told she was dead. Matt was really worried because the boy was withdrawn and Couldn’t say a word for two days. His father has now managed to get a few words out of him, but the effect has been devastating. “

Now Halyna’s mother and her sister, who lives in Indonesia, want to travel to the USA to be there for Matthew and little Andros. Unfortunately, her father cannot travel with you because of health problems.
“Andros is such a smart and beautiful child, Halyna adored him and he will miss her so much – we have to be with him to support him,” says Halyna’s sister Svetlana. But unfortunately the trip to the USA turns out to be very difficult. “My mother’s visa application was approved, but mine was rejected,” she says, disappointed. Hopefully she can still travel to the country, especially to give her nephew a little comfort.
