Criminal Court requests arrest warrant against Prime Minister Netanyahu

After investigations, the International Criminal Court has concluded that both Prime Minister Netanyahu and the defense minister were guilty of serious crimes surrounding the war in the Gaza Strip. Therefore, the arrest of the two is requested.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) says it has issued an arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Based on the evidence collected and examined, there is “sufficient reason to believe that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Joav Gallant bear criminal responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity,” the court in The Hague said. The war in the Gaza Strip was triggered by the major attack on Israel by the radical Islamic group Hamas on October 7th.
