The Neusiedl am See volunteer fire brigade in Burgenland has been called to work with animals. Reason for use: A young stork landed in an inner courtyard and could no longer take off.
There is a stork’s nest on the roof of Mag. Job’s district pharmacy in Neusiedl am See. Also this year the parents raised two young birds, which are now fully fledged. One of the two has settled in the narrow courtyard of the pharmacy – a mistake. Because it was too tight for the young pilot to take off again.
The comrades from the Neusiedl am See volunteer fire brigade moved in to capture the animal, which was achieved with patience and a blanket.
Master Adebar Junior was then released in the church park. By the way: now he’s back on the roof with his sibling!
