At the age of 25, Youtubeur Mastu, followed by more than five million Internet users on the platform, posted a video to announce a break in his activity. Harassed by fans, often very young, he is not the only one to have denounced certain disturbing behavior on the part of members of his community.
His name is Mastu, and at the age of only 25 he is already announcing a break in his career as a Youtuber. And for good reason: the videographer shared the harassment he suffered from some of his fans, who went so far as to harass him in front of his home. He explains, after in particular having passed several times in front of a school where fans have recognized him, living a nightmare.

These young fans, some of whom even come accompanied by their parents, ring the doorbell of his home daily, forcing him to “live with the shutters closed”. “When they’re not filming or ringing, they come into my yard stepping over the gate to leave notes on my door,” he explains.
A situation denounced by several Youtubers
This is unfortunately not the first time that a YouTuber has denounced certain actions of their fans, sometimes ready to do anything to talk to them… or express their disagreement with their content. Earlier in the year, the fashion and lifestyle Youtuber Lena Situations, known in particular for her series of “August vlogs” each summer, had also made a video to denounce the harassment she suffered.
In a video entitled “The dogs bark, the caravan passes”, she had also told that Internet users had gone to her mother’s home, or that she had been insulted by telephone.
