The second half of the year promises to be extremely exciting for PC hobbyists. Not only are the prices of graphics cards finally falling and many models can already be purchased at or below the RRP, but there are also many interesting hardware releases from AMD, Intel and Nvidia in the area of CPUs and GPUs.
This includes the Ryzen 7000 processors based on Zen 4, with which AMD wants to introduce the new socket AM5 at the same time, which supports DDR5 and PCIe 5.0. Intel is countering this launch with the Raptor Lake CPUs of the 13th Core i generation, with which the manufacturer wants to further develop the hybrid approach of P and E cores. Nvidia doesn’t sleep either and is expected to launch the first RTX 4000 GPUs codenamed Ada Lovelace later this year. Due to the roughly simultaneous release of the Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards, there should be an exciting duel for the performance crown. Last but not least, Team Blue wants a piece of the graphics card cake and enters the ring with the Intel ARC graphics card series.
