Facing new challenges makes life exciting for him. His colleague Massimo Sinató is also looking forward to a task that challenges him in two ways.

"Music and dance have always been part of my life and I thought it would be extremely exciting to learn to sing while dancing," explains the "Let's Dance" professional in an interview. "It is very difficult to combine the two. Above all, you mustn't get out of breath while dancing, otherwise the singing will suffer." Mistakes in dancing can be concealed, but mistakes in singing cannot be ignored, Sinató knows about the great task. The stage has been his home for about 30 years. "And of course I feel very comfortable as a dancer on her, but with my singing debut I'll be at least as excited as the others."

Neither candidate has a lot of singing experience. "The last time I sang on a stage I was in the school choir. I was 11!", Says Sinató. Since then he only sings in the shower or while driving. "I think I have a feel for music and rhythm, but singing is still new territory for me." His singing talent is limited, says Krüger Jr. to. The nervousness is therefore "huge" and he is afraid that he will forget his text and embarrass his partner Polly. "She's the pro! But we found a good mix for the songs that we have a lot of fun with."

Maki doll Polly turned him "completely upside down in every respect and demanded everything from me. There were days when I wanted to throw everything – but in the end we kept coming together and had to laugh at ourselves." Sinató will take the stage with the unicorn Didi Rakete. "As the name suggests, she is a real bundle of energy. We'll rock the stage together! She gives me vocal coaching and I work on our stage performance."

And what do the people around them say about participating in the weird talent show? The family of Hardy Krüger Jr. was "excited, especially since my wife motivated me to do the format. The children will then sit in front of the TV on Friday evening and not stream." Sinató's wife Rebecca Mir (28) is also on fire, explains the dancer. "She says, 'Let the puppets dance.'"
