Harrison Ford would like to be in front of the camera with his wife Calista Flockhart. Why hasn’t a collaboration materialized so far?
Harrison Ford (80) at the premiere of his new Apple TV+ comedy series “Shrinking” in Los Angeles in conversation with “People” revealed that he would be happy to work with his wife, actress Calista Flockhart (58). “We’d love to find something to do together, but that hasn’t been the case until now.”
Ford added that Flockhart, who is best known for starring as Ally McBeal in the TV series of the same name, has recently returned to acting after taking a long hiatus to care for her adopted son Liam, 22. “She’s going back to work after dedicating herself to raising our son for the past 20 years,” Ford explained. “And she’s enjoying going back to work. I hope we find something we can do together.” .”
The secret of their long marriage
The two Hollywood stars met at the 2002 Golden Globes and married eight years later. In conversation with the entertainment magazine “Parade” Ford revealed the secret of his happy marriage in 2020. “Don’t talk, just nod,” the actor explained succinctly with a wink.
Another rule is doing the housework. Before he pursues his second great passion besides acting, flying, he first takes care of the things his wife tells him to do. “Well, when my chores are done and there’s nothing more urgent and the weather’s good, I’ll fly.”
