Harrison Ford: Working with Sean Connery was a "pleasure"

After Sean Connery's death, Harrison Ford also spoke up. Working with Connery was "a pleasure," he recalls.

Film legend Sean Connery (1930-2020) died on Saturday at the age of 90. Many stars have already paid tribute to the actor, now Harrison Ford (78) has also spoken out. The two were seen together in Steven Spielberg's (73) film "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" (1989), in which Connery played the father of Ford's character Indiana Jones.

Ford said about Connery to the US industry portal "Variety": "He was my father … not in real life, but in Indy 3." The movie star went on to say, "You don't know what pleasure is until someone pays you to take Sean Connery for a ride in the sidecar of a Russian motorcycle bouncing over a bumpy, winding mountain path. God, what fun we had." And Ford added, "When he's in heaven, I hope they have golf courses. Rest in peace, dear friend."

"Peacefully asleep"

"James Bond" icon Sean Connery "fell asleep peacefully" in his adopted home in the Bahamas at the weekend, as reported by the British BBC, citing Connery's son Jason (57). Before that, he had not been doing well for "some time".
