Harry Potter in series: these two actors are ready to return… but on one condition!

The former actors of the Harry Potter films will they participate in the series in development on the side of HBO? Two of them would not be against…

What will the new Harry Potter series that HBO and Warner are actively preparing look like? If we don’t have the answer yet, there are already two actors from the movie franchise who wouldn’t say no to a return to Hogwarts: James and Oliver Phelps aka… the Weasley brothers!

In an interview given to New York Postthe former interpreters of George and Fred have indeed revealed: “It’s a chapter in our lives that we never really closed. As for our characters, that’s another thing: we no longer look like students. But we know as little as you do!“.

The most facetious former students of Hogwarts have indeed changed a lot since the end of the Harry Potter saga in the cinema in 2010. They have also become rarer on our screens: we could see them in 2021 in the film Last Night in Soho or even in the reunion documentary Back to Hogwarts.

The twins are currently hosting a documentary series called Fantastic Friends in which they travel through many landscapes and act as tour guides with their famous friends, which include Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) and Luke Youngblood (Lee Jordan), as well as Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones, Sophie Skelton from Outlander and Haley Joel Osment from Sixth Sense.

If James and Oliver Phelps want to return to the magical world created by JK Rowling, they just might (take turns) playing a Hogwarts professor. At present, they are the only actors in the original saga not to be closed to this series reboot. Daniel Radcliffe has already made it known that he is not interested…

As a reminder, the series will therefore follow seven Harry Potter novels and each of the seasons will follow a novel, which gives a total of seven seasons to be expected.
