The former interpreter of Drago reacts to this rumor according to which he will be part of the reboot of the Harry Potter saga in series, and to play a very particular role.
Just like the Phelps twins who lent their laughing faces to Fred and George Weasley for a decade, Tom Felton is also up for playing in the new Harry Potter series, currently in production at Warner and HBO Max.
In an interview given to The Pedestrian, the former interpreter of Draco Malfoy – a character who has become one of Potterheads’ favorites – responded to a rumor according to which he would participate in this reboot. And to play a role in particular: that of Lucius Malfoy, Draco’s father. An exchange of the torch between him and Jason Isaacs which would make sense for many fans:
“Let’s launch the hashtag now. The passion for the wizarding world is still present and that’s what touches me the most. I participated in introducing you to the world of Harry Potter and I am very proud that your children can also be part of this generation. Regarding Lucius, yes that would tempt me. But I’m not sure I’m in their budget. I’m kidding ! I’m available.”
Tom Felton has never really forgotten the Harry Potter period. If the actor has since appeared in other projects, the character of Draco Malfoy still sticks to him.
