Harry Potter: This is what the characters would look like in the 80s

Using artificial intelligence, fans of the famous magic saga wondered what Harry, Ron, Hermione and the others might look like if they were evolving in an 80s series.

Even if, technically, the heroes of the magic saga knew the 80s (since according to the works of JK Rowling, Harry Potter was born in July 1980), the events which are told to us in the 8 feature films of the franchise take place a decade later.

Harry, Ron, Hermione and the others, who are also cut off from the Muggle world, have therefore probably never played the Rubik’s Cube while listening take on meor searched for their Back to the Future sessions on a minitel.

Recently, using artificial intelligence, fans of the saga have remedied this by imagining what the young wizards of Hogwarts could have looked like in an 80s series.

As can be seen by observing the illustrations, posted on the Instagram account of thehpfacts, the Hermione of the 80s has nothing to envy to Nancy Wheeler in Stranger Things. The children of the Weasley family sport a look halfway between Prince and David Bowie. As for Albus Dumbledore, we can easily imagine him starting to sing Never Gonna Give You Up.

Other characters from the saga, such as Severus Snape, Draco Malfoy and of course Harry Potter himself, have also been given an 80s makeover.

What do you think of these diversions? Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and the other actors of the famous saga would they have had their place in the casting of Stranger Things?
