At the end of his “Love On” tour, superstar Harry Styles thanked his audience with haunting words.

The former One Direction frontman’s second major solo tour was planned right from the start Harry Styles (29) under no particularly good star. It was actually supposed to start in 2020, after the release of his second studio album “Fine Line” (2019). However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic thwarted these plans.

It couldn’t start again until September 4, 2021, when Styles finally opened the tour, which had been postponed twice, with a concert in Las Vegas. The Ukraine war that broke out a little later was to cast another shadow on the series of events and let the “Love on Tour” motto appear in a different light.

22 months, 169 shows, five continents

After 22 months and a total of 169 shows on five continents, Harry’s world tour finally found a happy and rather emotional end in the Italian provincial capital of Reggio Emilia. Before he started the last encores with his band, he turned around the entertainment portal “yahoo!” according to with moving words to his audience.

“I can’t do it if you don’t come,” he began his speech. “I know that better than anyone. I know you’re here tonight because you wanted to make it special for me. You make it special for me every night.” In his further speech, he expressly thanked his fans for the love with which they filled the room at each of his concerts – in line with the tour motto.

“Bring love out into the world. She needs it right now.”

At the end of his speech, the singer, wrapped in an androgynous glitter outfit, hit a more serious tone: “I know that you feel so incredibly small in this world that it can be very, very difficult to have the feeling that anything you can do can make a difference,” he explained. “But I promise you, I see that all the time in the little things you guys do and the way you treat each other. How it’s impacted all of the people around me, how it’s impacted the people out there, it’s so much bigger. It won’t stop when this tour ends. I want you to continue this. Take the love out into the world. She needs it right now.”
