Prince Harry’s interview brought the TV channels RTL, VOX and n-tv a strong rating of well over six million viewers.

Prince Harry (38) is currently accompanying the publication of his memoirs “Spare” (German: “Reserve”) with a series of TV interviews. Yesterday, the German channels RTL, VOX and n-tv broadcast a conversation between the number six in line to the British throne and the journalist Tom Bradby ( 55) off. Spread over all three German channels, a strong 6.79 million viewers aged three and over tuned in, as RTL announced in a press release. A quite remarkable rate.

Prince Harry’s interview flops in the UK

“Harry: The Interview” ran on RTL yesterday at 5 p.m., on n-tv at 8:15 p.m. and on VOX at 11:15 p.m. The conversation is available in German and in the original English version on the RTL+ streaming service. In the country of his birth, Great Britain, however, Harry’s interview on Sunday was not granted a particularly high reach. Just under four million people tuned in here. Another conversation Harry had with US journalist Anderson Cooper (55) was followed by around 10.5 million television viewers on the US channel CBS, also on Sunday.
